Physiological yellowing

Under some still poorly defined conditions, old zucchini leaves show diffuse yellow patches often beginning at the base of the main veins (Figure 1). This alteration in coloring is not of parasitic origin; it seems irreversible but without consequence on the growth and the yield of the plants.
