Rhizopus stolonifer

This ripe fruit is partially degraded by wet, soft rot.  The liquefied tissues have collapsed and the film, wrinkled in places, will soon break.  A white aerial mold begins to grow.  <b> Mucoral rots </b> (<i> Rhizopus </i> and <i> Mucor </i> rot)
