Spiders (Araneae)

Spiders use silk to make cocoons containing their eggs. The female of <em> Pardosa </em> sp. carries the cocoon with it.
Spiders, like all arthropods, have an exoskeleton that they must leave during moulting, in order to grow.
Spider of the Salticidae family on the lookout on vine wood.
Two species of the family Araneidae, weavers of webs: <em> Araneus diadematus </em> on the left and <em> Araniella cucurbitina </em> on the right of the photo, recognizable by its raw green abodomen stained with red at the 'end.
Spider of the Gnaphosidae family, members of this family hunt at night and during the day stay in a silk cocoon.
