Trichothecium roseum (fruit rot)

This green fruit is almost completely rotten.  It has taken on a dark, oily tint and brown veins are visible in places.  The tissue surrounding the peduncle is brown and a pink mold emerges from under the sepals.  <b> <i> Trichothetium roseum </i> </b>
