High concentration of <b> aphids </b> at different stages of development under the blade of this zucchini leaf.
Fumagine
The strong presence of aphids is at the origin of the development of <b> sooty mold </b> on the stem and young fruits of this zucchini plant.  Note that the fruits are affected by <b> Zucchini yellow mosaic virus </b> (<i> Zucchini yellow mosaic virus </i>, ZYMV).  This is not surprising because this virus is transmitted by aphids.
