Cucurbit moths

• Cucurbit moths belong to the order Lepidoptera (adults are butterflies), to the Crambidae family and to the genus Diaphania . They are subservient to the plants of the Cucurbitaceae family.
• Sensitive crops include cucumbers, giraumons, zucchini and squash.
• Three species are found: two species known as "twins" Diaphania hyalinata (melon moth) and Diaphania indica (cucumber moth), and Diaphania nitidalis (cucumber moth)
